Yes, one person can manage and submit applications for multiple family members from a single user profile or email address. However, Iraqi immigration authorities process every traveller individually. There is no combined family visa. Each family member, including infants and minor children, must have an individual application, a separate valid passport, and their own fee payment.
Mandatory requirements per person
Each family member must meet individual application requirements:
- Individual valid passport. Each person needs an individual passport valid for at least six months from the arrival date, with at least one blank page. Children cannot travel on a parent's passport.
- Individual personal photograph. Upload a recent digital color photo with a plain white background for each applicant on the official Iraqi Electronic Visa Portal. Paper applications at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Washington, D.C. require two physical photos.
- Separate application submission. Fill out a distinct form for each family member.
- Individual visa fee. Pay the official government fee for each application separately.
Helpful supporting documents
Keep supporting travel documents organized for the whole family:
- Return or onward flight tickets. Airlines check for confirmed return tickets for every passenger before boarding, as noted by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
- Accommodation details. Prepare your hotel booking or local host address for your travel records.
- Civil certificates. Carry birth certificates for minor children and marriage certificates if relevant, especially when confirming family relationships or claiming Iraqi heritage fee waivers.
- Printed eVisas. Print physical copies of each approved visa document for airline check-in and border officers.
