No. You cannot edit an Iraq visa application after you submit it and pay the fee. The official Iraqi Electronic Visa Portal does not provide a self-service tool to edit submitted applications.
Edits before submission
While filling out the online application form, you can review, modify, and update your personal details and uploaded files freely. Once you confirm the form and complete payment, the portal locks your file.
Changes during processing
You cannot modify application fields while immigration officers review your file. If officers require updated files or clarifications, the portal updates your status to Additional Information Required. You can then upload the requested items. If you notice an error while review is ongoing, contact the Directorate of Residency Affairs directly by phone at +964 772 111 1434 or submit an inquiry through the portal. Applicants for consular paper visas must contact the Iraqi embassy handling their application.
Errors after visa issue
Immigration authorities cannot amend an electronic visa after issuance. The details on your visa must match your passport exactly. Discrepancies in your name, passport number, or date of birth can cause airlines to deny boarding or border officers to refuse entry.
Reapplication, extension, and overstay procedures
- Reapplication. If your issued visa contains biographical errors, you must submit a new application with correct details and pay the fee again. Government visa fees are non-refundable.
