Yes, you can pay for an Iraq visa without a credit card. Your payment options depend on whether you apply online or through an embassy.
Paying for an online eVisa
- Debit cards and prepaid travel cards. The official Iraqi Electronic Visa Portal does not require a credit card. You can pay with an international debit card, such as Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit, or an international prepaid card. Your card must have online international payments and 3D Secure verification enabled.
- No cash or wire transfers online. The online portal requires electronic card payment. You cannot pay with cash, PayPal, personal cheques, or direct bank transfers on the portal.
- Official government fee. The standard tourist eVisa for Federal Iraq costs $160 USD, as recorded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
