Erbil airport says airport taxis operate around the clock. Confirm pickup and fare when booking. Its free shuttle connects the terminal with the airport checkpoint and public parking, not the city centre. Arrange your return trip too. Carry your passport or residence permit and follow officials at checkpoints. Ask before photographing people or shops, and check the rules at religious sites.
