Try searching your map app for 'pharmacy' or 'صيدلية' near your accommodation. You can ask your hotel for directions, or ask a local doctor or clinic to recommend a licensed pharmacy. Treat map results as leads, not proof of licensing, opening hours or medicine availability. Call before travelling, especially at night.
If you need replacement medicine, consult a pharmacist or healthcare provider. Take your prescription and the original packaging if available. Ask the pharmacist to check the active ingredient and strength. NaTHNaC warns that medicines with similar names or appearances abroad may contain different ingredients or amounts. Do not choose a replacement by brand name alone.
For help finding medical advice, the FCDO Iraq health page links to medical providers where some staff speak English.
Whether a medicine is sold locally is separate from whether you may bring it into Iraq. Check import rules with the Iraqi embassy or consulate before travel. Do not treat local availability as permission to import it.
