The federal Iraq visa is valid for the entire country, including the Kurdistan Region (Baghdad, Najaf, Basra, Karbala, plus Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Dohuk). However, the Kurdistan visa is only valid for the Kurdistan Region (Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Dohuk) and cannot be used to enter Baghdad or other federal areas.
