Your journey begins in Baghdad, where you are welcomed and assisted upon arrival before setting out toward the legendary lands of ancient Mesopotamia.
The first stop is Babylon, once one of the greatest cities the world has ever known. Walking through its ruins, you step into the heart of early human civilization—where law, religion, and urban life first took shape under kings like Hammurabi.
Nearby, you visit Borsippa, home to the ziggurat dedicated to Nabu, god of wisdom and writing, a reminder of Babylon’s deep connection to knowledge and learning.
The day continues with a visit to the Shrine of Prophet Job (Ayub), a sacred place revered across Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, symbolizing patience and faith.
By evening, you arrive in Karbala, home to the shrines of Imam Husayn and Al-Abbas.

Day 2 – Wednesday, 25 March 2026 | Najaf & Kufa – The Birth of Early Islam
Travel from Karbala to Najaf to visit the shrine of Imam Ali, one of the most important figures in Islamic history.
Continue to Kufa, once the capital of the early Islamic state, and explore its Great Mosque and historic landmarks.
End the day at Wadi Al-Salam, the largest cemetery in the world.

Visit Uruk, one of the world’s earliest cities and the birthplace of writing.

Day 4 – Friday, 27 March 2026 | Basra Heritage – Trade, Culture, and Diversity
Walk through Basra Old City, once a key trading hub linking Mesopotamia with the Gulf.
Visit the Armenian Churches of Basra, reflecting centuries of coexistence.
Explore the Basra Museum, housed in a former presidential palace.
Afternoon transfer back to Baghdad.

Day 7 – Monday, 30 March 2026 | Baghdad – The Abbasid Capital
Visit Al-Kadhimiya, home to the shrines of Imam Musa al-Kadhim and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad.
Walk through Old Baghdad, echoing the Abbasid Golden Age of science and culture.
Conclude the journey at the Aqarquf Ziggurat, a Kassite-era monument symbolizing Baghdad’s ancient roots.
